Remarks:

Although the title page gives a date of 1938, this first American edition was not actually published until 1942.

This edition was edited by Wilfred Talbot Smith and corrected several literal typographical errors contained in the 1938 London edition.1

The introduction is missing the words "Democracy dodders".  Presumably this was due to the war taking place at the time.3

Copies are sometimes found with the words "Church of Thelema | 1003 S. Orange Grove Ave. | Pasadena, Calif." or alternately just the address portion excised from the title page.3
