The text of this catalog is
believed to have been rewritten entirely by Robert Cecil from
Crowley's catalog.2
Some copies contained a loose invitation form to subscribe to to
the production of an actual set of cards.1
Apparently at this
time there was a scheme for an actual pack of tarot cards to be
printed. The catalog included a subscription form that attempts
to raise a sum of £1500 for the 78 blocks to be made and packs
of cards reproduced in color. Subscribers were asked for a
minimum payment of £6 which would entitle them to two packs of
cards.4 |
