The majority of
the poems included in this book had previously been
published in The Agnostic Review and were reworked by
Neuburg.
The
book is 54 pages in length and features 25 of Neuburg's
earliest works.
Bound in the same manner as our previous publication of
Neuburg's
Rosa
Ignota and
Songs
of the Grove so as to provide a matching set.
Each book is bound by hand, measures 8 1/2"
x 5 1/2" and
features a spine fashioned from red oak. 54 pages.
Decorative borders and initials are
featured throughout the book. Printed on a 70 pound text
weight, acid-free paper specifically chosen for this edition
with a cover of acid-free 80 lb. Royal Fiber cardstock. The
outer cover is fashioned from handmade, 100% cotton rag, marbled
paper. The text is set in Nyala font.
As an added bonus, each book comes with a hand-bound
copy of several poems contributed by Neuburg to Larkspur:
A Lyric Garland, a collection of poetry by
Neuburg and several other writers. Each
copy also includes a handsome bookplate and bookmark.
